A few quick steps: join your Wi-Fi, say who lives here, pick your weather places, then open the lists app on your phone. You can come back to any of this later from the gear icon.

Add each person. Kids get their own chore and packing lists. Check the timezone while you're here.

Your zip code first. Add more for places you care about; the weather widget cycles through them.

On the same Wi-Fi, scan this with your phone's camera. It opens the lists app and signs it in. Then use Share, then "Add to Home Screen". Do this on each phone.
